The North Wall Community Development Project (CDP) is a not-for-profit community development organisation based in Lower Sheriff Street and Connolly House, North Strand Road, Dublin 1.
The North Wall Women’s Centre was established in 1985 by a group of women, drawn largely from our local community, who recognised the need for a place that would facilitate and accommodate local women by providing a meeting place where they could engage with their local community.
The Centre was awarded CDP status in 2007 with a view to expanding its resources and supports to the community and to bring about social change in order to improve the life of the community.
The North Wall CDP’s mission aims to redress the problems people experience because of social exclusion.
The NWCDP also aims to empower people in the community to develop and reach their full potential and participate fully in society by providing appropriate supports and resources in a safe environment.
We hope this website provides all the information you need on the organisation and our work.
